Auricular therapy involves activating reflex points on the outside of the ear that correspond with each of the various organs and body systems in order to stimulate, sedate, or balance those systems.  Our certified auricular therapist uses a mild electric inpulse on those reflex points with a special tool.  Auricular therapy is non-invasive and can be used to help manage back pain, encourage weight loss, assist in overcoming addiction such as cigarette smoking, induce relaxation, and stimulate detoxification among an abundance of other benefits.

Therapeutic Massage has been practiced in some form in every culture for thousands of years. Herbal/Wellness Counseling is done in a two-part process. On the first visit Clinical Herbalist Sue Cummings takes a complete history of the client, listening to chief complaints but also reviewing all body systems including sleep, digestion, skin, diet, etc. Before the second visit, Sue will do any necessary research, such as investigating possible herb/medication reactions or the latest studies on a particular disease. Clients then return for a second visit and are given a written health plan that includes detailed suggestions for diet, exercise, vitamins, herbs, etc. When herbs are appropriate, Sue can create formulas specifically designed to meet the needs of each client.
     In practice in Huntsville since 2001, Sue is certified by the American Herbalists Guild. She holds a bachelor's degree in botanical medicine, graduating summa cum laude in 2001 from the North American College of Botanical Medicine in Albuquerque, N.M. Call the store to schedule an appointment.

BioEnergetics Testing uses a computer to measure the electrical conductivity at responsive (meridian) points to assess which systems in the body have been compromised by environmental toxicity, nutritional deficiencies, emotional stress and energetic imbalances. Once imbalances have been identified, the computer then recommends homeopathic and herbal remedies and/or nutritional supplementation to assist the body's healing process.
